October 2006 (Vol. 2, No. 9)

Notable & Quotable: "This book advances a radical theory: that human consciousness is rapidly transitioning to a new state, a new intensity of awareness that will manifest as a different understanding, a transformed realization, of time and space and self [...]

"I will argue that this quantum jump into a new context has been carefully prepared by our history, when it is viewed from a certain perspective. At the same time, our active engagement is prepared to make it happen. Once we see what is at stake, each of us, individually, can choose whether or not to venture the leap across the divide [...]

"The process of transition from one world to another could be one of simultaneous creation and destruction [...]

"Such a shift would not be the 'end of the world,' but the end of a world, and the opening of the next."

1. Historical & Scientific Overview of Enlightenment

Sol Luckman

Many ancient traditions worldwide maintain that humans not only inherently possess the potential for fully incarnating light at the physiological level, but that some have already achieved it, and millions more will do so in the very era in which we live.

The historical literature "suggests that there are unusual physical, as well as psychological, consequences in humans to the attainment of the exalted state of mind known as enlightenment," writes biochemist Colm Kelleher in a fascinating article published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration entitled "Retrotransposons as Engines of Human Bodily Transformation." "These reported changes include, but are not limited to, sudden reversal of aging, emergence of a light body and observed bodily ascension." While many of these descriptions associate the lightbody with death, Kelleher makes it clear that a number of reports indicate that "transformation of the body can happen independently of death."

The path of physical transcendence or bio-spiritual enlightenment through lightbody activation was embraced as a reality in most of the ancient world. The death and resurrection of Christ and Osirus are two famous examples from the Near East. In the Middle Ages, a group known as the Cathars from southern France claimed to possess the secret gospel of Jesus called the Gospel of Love, believed to contain linguistic keys for creating the lightbody.

After the existence of this text became known, the Roman church began to torture the Cathars in one of its infamous Inquisitions, killing millions of innocent people--at which point the Gospel of Love mysteriously disappeared. Ironically, owing to the stringent proof requirements for canonization of saints, the Catholic church maintains some of the most detailed records of paranormal phenomena associated with the lightbody, including several instances of individuals levitating, flying, or bilocating.

It seems that the Gospel of Love was, among other things, a manual for creating the merkabah. The merkabah, according to investigative mythologist William Henry, is the "light body vehicle of resurrection and ascension that is the foundation of Hebrew mysticism. These texts make it clear that the Mer-Ka-Ba is a vehicle of light that emerges from within the human body."

Henry points to the Resurrection, following which the doubting fingers of Thomas appear to enter Christ's transfigured, luminescent flesh, as one famous description of the completely activated lightbody. In an article entitled "Finding the Holy Grail," psychologists Barry and Janae Weinhold make a similar claim, pointing out on the basis of decades of in-depth historical research that the "individual human body is the Holy Grail. It isn't something 'out there.' Like a tuning fork, the body can be tuned to different frequencies," including that of Source, through DNA activation.

"Many indigenous traditions of Mesoamerica believe that [Source] emits a frequency or tone known as 'Ge' that not only heals the body-mind-spirit but provides immortality," write the Weinholds, adding that the

spiritual practices used in the ancient mystery schools of Egypt and Greece employed a variety of … vibrational tools to attune people's DNA to Source. This caused the DNA to ring, sing or vibrate so that it resonated with the tone of Ge--the frequency of Galactic Center. This attunement activated a San Graal or Song Grail--a "love song in the blood"--creating a rainbow bridge that synchronized an initiate's consciousness with Source. This love song energetically united Heaven (Galactic Center) with Earth (initiates), opening human hearts and pumping crystallized Ge-tuned blood through their bodies. From this perspective, "Ge-sus" is a Master Being sent from Tula or Galactic Center to help humanity attune its DNA to the frequency of Ge so that we can return to Source.

In a nearly identical vein, Leonard Horowitz in DNA: Pirates of the Sacred Spiral writes that "DNA seems to be transmitting the equivalent of heavenly love songs. From this music, played through genetic equipment, variations in sacred geometric forms materialize in space."

The profound and numerous connections between the Egyptian Osirus and Jesus have been noted by generations of scholars. Among many other similarities, both are linked to the phoenix or heron, represented in hieroglyphics coming from Galactic Center, also (as indicated in the above quote by the Weinholds) called Tula, carrying the key of life.

In Egyptian hieroglyphics this key appears as an ankh, which may have been a type of actual tuning fork for harmonizing with Galactic Center, or may have merely symbolized techniques for producing this celestial harmonization. In either case, the ankh or key of life is of a musical nature and designed to be employed along with a type of inspired (and inspiring) speech known as the Language of the Birds. This powerful combination, properly performed, keys DNA to build the Holy Grail or lightbody.

The Language of the Birds, according to the Weinholds who cite Henry's research, "is a vowel-only phonetic code … Genetic and linguistic research indicates that the five vowels correspond to the five letters used to represent DNA and RNA … Initiates of the Language of the Birds who are able to speak or tone these vowels in certain ways know that these sounds permanently activate the DNA of all those who are able and willing to hear."

At the genetic level, such a radical activation, according to Kelleher's research in the mutable components of DNA called "jumping" DNA or transposons, occurs through a transposition burst involving the molecular rearrangement of perhaps thousands of genes. Consistent with Bruce Lipton's evidence that consciousness can alter genetic expression (The Biology of Belief) and David Wilcock’s compelling model of spontaneous evolution that simultaneously transmutes both consciousness and biology ("A Scientific Blueprint for Ascension"), Kelleher insists that true enlightenment, in addition to being a mental state, appears to have physical consequences.

The "appearance of a light body as a result of attaining enlightenment … could be described as the emergence of a new species in a single generation from humanity," he writes, adding that a "synchronized, non random transposition burst is the most simple molecular mechanism to account for the required new configuration."

While pointing out based on the historical literature that lightbody creation appears to occur only "in humans who have attained spiritual mastery," Kelleher emphasizes the existence of "stages on the road to … enlightenment [that are] experienced by a great number of ordinary people." This supports the potential effectiveness of a step-by-step process, such as DNA activation, to bio-spiritual enlightenment in which transposons are incrementally stimulated in preparatory phases--culminating in a "synchronized, non random transposition burst" when, and only when, the individual is consciously prepared to experience it.

In one apocryphal text known as the Pistis Sophia, Jesus (considered a master of the Language of the Birds) discourses on the afterlife in terms that appear straight out of the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Henry calls this "the first lesson of the Mer-Ka-Ba mysticism." "You are to seek after the mysteries of the Light," Jesus is quoted as saying, "which purify the body and make it into refined light."

Later, Jesus describes the connection between our dimension and higher dimensions as operating "from within outwards"--a statement, according to Henry, that "refers to a transformation of consciousness that opens the door to other worlds." Similarly, in the Bible Jesus insists, The Kingdom of Heaven is within. Dr. Horowitz's meticulous research leads him to affirm the material truth of this assertion: "The bioacoustic and electromagnetic matrix through which the Holy Spirit flows is real. It's what animates your DNA [by transmitting] the Kingdom of Heaven to you, and through you, right now, on Earth as it is in Heaven."

Another important figure from the Mediterranean associated with the lightbody is the Egyptian Thoth, called Hermes Trimegistus by the Greeks and considered the father of alchemy. Thoth is credited with the enormously influential phrase "As above, so below." Of the many seemingly miraculous gifts he brought his people, arguably the bird-headed Thoth's most important legacy is the doctrine of inner or spiritual light that can literally metamorphose the human body into a physiology of divine radiance. Interestingly, Thoth was also revered as the creator of writing and his alchemical science of transformation, like that of Jesus, is associated with the Language of the Birds.

The lightbody is also a theme in the ancient mystical traditions of Central and South America. A variety of mythical figures exist similar to the Incan god-man Amanumuru, who according to legend walked through a portal called the Muru Doorway and returned via the Black Road to his true home among the stars.

In what is today Mexico, a figure known as Quetzalcoatl embodied the higher light of divinity. Judith Bluestone Polich has called Quetzalcoatl "the Osirus of Mesoamerica" and sees him as symbolizing the bridging of duality, a being who "represents light in physical form … freed from the confines of matter." Daniel Pinchbeck's fascinating new book 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl offers another insightful perspective on this highly complex figure from myth, legend, and--perhaps--reality.

It seems poetic justice that Quetzalcoatl is usually depicted as a serpent with bird wings--an obvious reference to the ability of DNA (symbolized by the serpent, as in Jeremy Narby's The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge) to transform one into an angelic being capable of f/light, which is an excellent definition of the merkabah.

Equally important is that Quetzalcoatl is thought to have revitalized the great ceremonial center of Teotihuacan, believed by some archeologists to be Earth's interdimensional gateway to the legendary Tula, the celestial home of Quetzalcoatl--and perhaps other "messianic" herons or phoenixes who arrived in this dimension carrying the key of life, or the knowledge of how to inspire ("breathe life") by speaking or singing the bio-spiritual Language of the Birds.

DNA-related Definition of the Month

Nadi: one of a network of tiny tubular channels acting like "fiber-optic" extensions of the human nervous system that filter Source energy through the subtle bodies. These channels that are governed by the electromagnetic fields (which are themselves projected by DNA) transfer bioenergy to specific areas of the organism (glands, organs, and cells) by way of the chakras.

2. Introduction to Conscious Evolution

Sarah McIntyre

I remember reading about the work of evolution biologist Elisabeth Sahtouris where she explained the process of metamorphosis in the caterpillar.

After carefully wrapping itself up in a cozy little chrysalis, crisis hits! The cellular structure begins to dissolve into formless "goo." The caterpillar literally destroys itself from the inside out. Yet even as the old structure dissolves, some deep innate wisdom guides the millions of still living cells to reform into "imaginal" cells holding the blueprint for a new creation.

Sahtouris writes, "When a caterpillar is beginning to transform, imaginal cells from the butterfly start to appear inside the caterpillar and the caterpillar's immune system destroys them. The first response of the system to the new work, to the new models, is to eat them alive because they are a threat. And this is when the caterpillar is in its most voracious state."

Yet in that state of complete "confusion" and apparent self-destruction, the imaginal cells prosper by linking up with each other in an extraordinary effort of cooperation. The goo nourishes the imaginal cells that turn miraculously into a beautiful delicate butterfly.

I first came across this explanation as I struggled to come to terms with a recent diagnosis of Hashimoto's disease: an autoimmune condition that affects the thyroid gland.

Five years ago I didn't even know anyone with an autoimmune condition. I had barely even heard of such a thing. Now I can easily name half a dozen friends, colleagues and acquaintances who have been diagnosed with one form or another--systemic lupus, multiple sclerosis (MS), type 1 diabetes, Graves' disease, Hashimoto's, chronic fatigue syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis being the most common.

Why would the body turn on itself? Why did these conditions seem to be increasing? Why were they considered incurable? Why did they mainly affect women? Why me? Why now? Why? Why? Why?

And then I read about the butterfly...

What if autoimmunity was a stepping stone to a new form--a new consciousness? What if disease--any serious disease--was an invitation to evolve? What if the increase in autoimmune illnesses and the complexity and sheer number of conditions was God's (the Creator's, the Universe's, the Collective's, etc.) way of demanding, pleading, begging more of us to evolve so that the consciousness of the planet could expand to a higher frequency? In this scenario perhaps, just perhaps we wouldn't end up destroying ourselves after all.

What if disease was an opportunity, a blessing, a reflection of our higher states of consciousness? What if it helped us not associate so deeply with the physical body but form a new association with it honouring in equal amounts spirit, energy, emotion and mind from a place of "I AM"? What if illness helped us move from Victim to Unity consciousness?

I am certainly not implying that those who get sick must in some way be chosen for the "next level." I do know, however, that nothing will slow you down and invite introspection and self-enquiry like a debilitating illness. It may be autoimmune, it may be cancer, it may be an accident, it may be a breakup of a relationship, it may be a death, it may be a birth, it may be a midlife crisis--the list goes on.

If all roads lead to Rome, the world is demanding that we choose a new road. Conscious Evolution offers a new road, whatever your circumstance. If you have reached the end of what you know and no longer wish to continue on the route you find yourself on, this book will help you change course toward a new horizon.

Conscious Evolution is an interactive process; you will be really involved with me, and I will take you on a ride. I do not recommend reading the entire book in one week and completing all the actions. If you tried to do this all even in one month, you would most likely overstimulate yourself and have a nervous breakdown!

With this as a caveat, it is my intention that Conscious Evolution will be a catalyst for consciousness. It is written from the perspective of a women in her 30s whose journey of personal evolution has been and continues to be her driving force in every moment. But she also likes being married and experiencing a deep and truly equal and intimate relationship, she enjoys being a leader and likes to express this in the world, she loves to cook, she wants a family one day, she loves great clothes and has a deep calling to be of service beyond herself.

I wish to inspire in readers a new perspective and paradigm around illness and how we can heal. Conscious Evolution weaves together the concepts unity consciousness, transformation and illness and offers a philosophy that teaches how to be modern day masters truly embracing our duality. We need a handbook that helps us along this path, since for most of us enlightenment does not happen overnight.

Finally, Conscious Evolution is the story of my recovery through the development of this new philosophy--Energetic Living--that is straightforward and powerful. Energetic Living invites a commitment to enlightenment, love, truth, energy, relationship, contribution and the pursuit of higher consciousness that truly does create miracles every bit as simple yet profound as the delicate butterfly.

Did You Know ... in one Hindu myth, human consciousness began as a tiny ripple that chose to leave the ocean of cosmic consciousness? As it awoke to itself, our consciousness forgot it was part of the infinite cosmic ocean and found itself washed ashore and imprisoned in a state of isolation. Gifted psychic David Wilcock calls this perceived separation from Source the "Original Wound" and remarks that it is "the basis behind all suffering, and also … the final key to enlightenment." At the level of the human bioenergy fields, the Original Wound imprints and sustains itself as an energetic disruption sometimes called the Fragmentary Body.

Science has its own versions of the fundamental split or fragmentation at the heart of human existence. The particle-wave duality, in which atomic components--including those that make up our cells--are simultaneously particles and waves, is a primary example. Not surprisingly, DNA has also been shown to possess a version of the particle-wave binarism.

"In accordance with this duality," writes Leonard Horowitz, "DNA codes all living organisms in two ways, both with the assistance of DNA matter involving RNA and enzymes for protein synthesis, and by DNA sign wave functions, including coding at its own laser radiation level that functions bioholographically."

From the outset the holographic model has focused on the duality inherent in human experience. Karl Pribram first theorized a neural hologram in the brain's cerebral cortex operating in tandem with a subatomic or universal hologram--a micro-macrocosmic interface summed up by Horowitz in DNA: Pirates of the Sacred Spiral where he states that "a hologram within a hologram produces life as a function of creative consciousness."

In Wholeness and the Implicate Order, David Bohm also describes the brain as a hologram designed to interpret a larger hologram--the cosmos. "In this dualistic holographic model," explains Horowitz, "inseparable interconnectedness of holographs, including that of the Creator with the created, underlies human existence." Human existence, in turn, to quote Iona Miller and Richard Alan Miller, is rooted in genes serving as "holographic memories of the existential blueprint."

3. Thoughts on Etheric Vision & Superluminal Healing

Sai Grafio

In the Aquarian Age the air will be very dry. Walter Russell explains that this condition will take place because of the release of radioactivity in the air by humans. As a result of this phenomena, humanity will develop etheric vision. Etheric vision is seeing into the etheric plane, which to us is composed of antimatter or antiparticles. Light, however, is composed of photons to which there are no "antiphotons." Consequently, owing to light, we will be able to see in both planes.

Light is the final state of matter that can be seen with our physical eyes. Matter has been called frozen light. Light is a beam and the fifth state of matter. If there is indeed teleportation in the future, it will be because our bodies can be turned into the fifth state and condensed back to our physical state.

We have a body of matter and a body of light. Humans possess an etheric double which is an exact replication of the physical. The physical body by itself actually has no life and is inert. The etheric body is your real body. Light is etheric matter. When an amputee experiences ghost pains in his missing limb, it is the etheric counterpart that he is feeling. One's physical body can be blown to bits, yet the etheric body can remain whole. Medical science in the future will be able to regenerate limbs, based on this actually very ancient understanding. Physicans spend years studying the physical body and, for the most part, remain wholly ignorant of the etheric body.

Kirlian photography is able to show the 700 points of light that correspond to the ancient Chinese acupunture points. These points are nadis or electrical powerpoints in the etheric double. This biophoton field is the link between body and soul. The biophoton field in the brain, the nervous system and throughout the organism is the master key to understanding memory and consciousness.

When using etheric vision one is able to see utltraviolet rays, X-rays, gamma rays, and other invisible rays. Presently, as I explain in my book Mysteries: Ancient and Modern, we only see a millionth of the electromagnetic spectrum. I also explain how many different types of vision there are. Animals, for example, are able to see much that is beyond human sight.

In 2012 as we enter what some ancient wisdom traditions call the fifth world, our sight will shift one octave higher. All the normal physical colors we see will shift to dark red. The higher frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum will become our normal range. Ultraviolet rays will appear red and gamma rays indigo. Of course, one capable of making adjustments can see both "visible" and "invisible" frequencies. Sai Baba states that what is invisible can be made visible, and vice vera. Perhaps this is how he materializes objects.

The entire universe from the outer to the inner planes is a giant hologram of light which can condense into matter and back to light. As we begin to understand the vacuum or zerostate, we can grasp that the biofield, or the consciousness-like coherence of that field, in its base properties is associated with the vacuum. Out of the vacuum comes enantiomorphic dyads (yin-yang or particle-antiparticle). Consciouness is a funcition of the wavicle. The zerostate is waveless, motionless, and is the place of causation. All comes from nothing and returns; everything is nothing and nothing is everything. I have yet to publish my Zerostate Universe manuscript, but it should be forthcoming.

Again, as I explain in my book, the universe exists in an imbalanced state. God is the one still magnetic light at the center which divides omnipresence by bifurcating into two poles. God, the Knower (father and mother), creates the sexes (polarities) from a state of oneness. The chief desire for these two pairs is to unite and void their separateness.

Yet paradoxically, there is no imbalance. Antimatter may be present in matter as a quantum superimposition, one we do not observe until we look for it. The two realities exist at the same time but out of phase with each other. Everything in physical "reality" exists in two states, the physical and etheric. Physical matter exists in the same space-time with its etheric double but out of phase. Biophotonic light is stored in DNA. Since the etheric body is the template of the physical and the giver of life, medicine must ultimately look to DNA for superluminal healing.
